A Happy Birthday to Shakyamuni Buddha.
You were born in India on April 8 about 2500 years ago and attained great enlightenment.
For this reason we can hear your splendid teachings at present.
What a nice blessing your birth was for us! Today we sincerely celebrate it as Hanamatsuri or Flower Festival.
Dear Buddha, please continue to teach and guide us from now on. We will make our best to become good Buddha children.
